MARKET REPORT OF 09-05-22


 Due to the new wave of Corona epidemic and rising interest, the selling phase continues in the stock markets around the world. Its effect is also being seen on the domestic stock market. Last week also there was a huge fall in the domestic market. Today, as soon as trading started on Monday, both BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty fell more than 1-1%. There was some recovery in subsequent trading but the market could not make up for the loss.After the close of trading, the  Sensex fell 364.91 points 0.67% to end at 54,470.67 points.NSE Nifty also closed at 16,301.85 with a loss of 109.40 points 0.67%.
Shares of Tata Power on Monday fell up to 7%o hit a two-month low. With the fall in the domestic stock markets, pressure is being seen on the company's stock. Tata Power's PAT grew by 4% to Rs 653 crore during the March quarter.The performance of coal mining was disappointing, with its PAT falling 36% on a quarterly basis to Rs 397 crore.
In sensex stocks, Axis Bank, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Reliance Industries, HDFC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra are among the top losers. They showed a softening of up to 4%. On the other hand, if we look at the Nifty, Hindalco, JSW Steel and Tata Motors are among the top losers. Talking about the top gainers, Power Grid, UPL and Cipla are seeing strength of up to 1%.
