After the hike in the policy rate on , the domestic stock markets had taken a strong dive, but on Thursday, the markets looked stable. The BSE Sensex rose 650.9 points to reach 56, 319.93 in early trade.At the same time, Nifty had come down to 16,863.25 with a gain of 185.65 points. By 10 in the morning, the market had reached its intraday high.
Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, Infosys, State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and M&M were among the top gainers in the Sensex. On the other hand, Nestle and Titan were in the red.
