The market remained under selling pressure for the second consecutive session on April 25 . IT and FMCG companies  have created the biggest pressure on the market today. BSE Sensex falling more than 700 points  and closed at 56479 level  and Nifty falls more then 200 points and closed at 16927 level .
ICICIBANK was top gainer of the day up 1.06 % on nse . The country's second-largest private sector bank reported a 59.4% year-on-year growth in standalone profit at Rs 7,019 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 following a sharp fall in provisions and a jump in operating profit. Net interest income grew by 21%  to Rs 12,604.6 crore in Q4 FY 2022 and also supported profitability. The company has declared a dividend of Rs 5 a share. During morning trading session , this stock opened 747 Rs.and reached at 762 level  and finally closed at 754.
BPCL was top loser of the day .The share price of BPCL slumped more than 6%  the morning trade on today  after Vedanta Group’s Chairman Anil Agarwal said the government had called off the divestment of the state-owned company.in Stock opened today at 385 and made low of rs 368 and closed at 639.
